Interesting shot. I see that there as many rocks in the soil as in Menorca's.

I hadn't really noticed the rocks in this soil and wonder if they're not just dried out and hardened clods of earth?

Lovely light and some nice earthy colours in the landscape. I also like the lines from the ploughed field. Everything looks a bit parched.............as it does here...........and I bet you can't wait for a period of decent rainfall..!!

Thanks Keith! Both my physiotherapist and my sister think I'm bonkers, but I keep proving them wrong - I think I know my own body and capabilities. Compared to 4 months ago when I couldn't get around without the aid of a waking frame, I was quite pleased with my little walk here!

Thank you, Rosa. Yes, I think it's one of Fred's specialities - although his Dutch fields always look far more ship shape and Bristol fashion than these rather less immaculate Spanish ridges and furrows. Possibly something in the different natures of the two peoples!

The only physical restriction is that I shouldn't travel to crowded places as i'm still immuno-compromised and another bout of Covid could have equally severe consequences as last time! But, yes a walk here carries little risk of that!

From the place you live in the landscape should be a must! Enjoy it!

Well, it's always dry at this time of year and it always looks it but as it hasn't rained THIS YEAR and the water table is vanishingly low and the reservoirs are, on average nationwide, at 29% of capacity. So rationing will come in very soon we're all sure of it!
