We had a good time, thank you Rosa, and were lucky with the weather - lots of rain but only at night or in the car or when indoors! And the Spanish contingent loved it - me included - as a blessed relief from 100f in Madrid!
I still don't have a photo other than from the back or side. But amazingly, she saw the horse photo on my phone and asked for it to be forwarded to her - so maybe she is beginning to thaw on this one - not in time for this year's holiday snaps unfortunately! But I will persevere!

Glad you enjoyed it Andy. I have never been able to cope with high temperatures, but could do with a nice sunny September here now! That's when I usually take a holiday.

Me too! I always used to go down to Cornwall in May or June (great for the spring flowers) and then in September or early October and was generally lucky with the weather. But since I started teaching English in Spain, I could only take the usual holidays. Better than nothing I suppose!
