Rare fine weather! Last time I was in Penzance it never stopped raining;-)

I have had good luck in Penzance over the years, but I've never seen Newquay or Padstow other than in rain of fog! But I suppose that is because you reserve town visits (on holiday) for wet days when beach or country walks are out of the question! And Penzance was more family than holiday as my gran lived here for many years!
