Well the way I see it, Andy -- if I didn't know about it before you posted it .. then, that is a new item to file in my File Cabinets ... only problem, when I go to get said info -- I wonder which mental file cabinet it is in ......
And -
The older one gets .. the more things to file away therefor more mental file cabinets to sort through.

I remeber my trip to cornwall about 30 years ago with my son 7 years old and my dog a dachshound in Lands end with tent and storm :-)))

I had an old friend, aNNa, who went to Lands End for a two week summer holiday in 1948 with his fiancee in a side-car. It was foggy for the whole two weeks!!!

These are indeed Celtic relics, can being they have a report with solar rhythms

Every time I visit, there are some modern-day druids chanting the odd rite or two. A coachload of Americans were visiting last time - they all looked like normal elderly tourists until they all held hands in a circle and started chanting. I didn't want them in my photos so I took one or two shots and quietly left. A pity as I had wanted to take a few with nice backdrops. But blue-cagouled American mystics, or whatever, wasn't in my plans at all!

Fascinating megalithic site! It would be interesting to check in which part(s) of the year, at sunrise, the shadow of one menhir would point straight to the other.

I don't think that was their purpose, Dimas and anyway they have been moved out of position in recent centuries so we will never know, sadly!.
