Hayden Valley

We have been traveling round the lower loop of Yellowstone's main road starting at the west entrance and heading clockwise around the upper west side of the loop and the across the north to the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone. Now we had south along the east side of the loop and come to Hayden Valley, a great place to watch for wildlife and a beautifully scenic area upriver from the canyon. These photos were taken at different times of the year and most of them have Amethyst Mountain in the background, if I am not mistaken.
