Even as a tourist I almost never look for souvenir shops. I look after the cities. A so nice one.

Dany, you are more like us then. Of course not all tourist frequent the souvenir shops but that being said, there is nothing wrong in that and I know that the inhabitants of these tourist traps need to make a living too. In my younger days, I often bought souvenirs mainly for my family. Nowadays, it is soaking ourselves in the history and feel of these wonderful places, often whilst taking a coffee or beer. Our photos and videos keep all the memories alive today.

Oh yes, sometimes I buy a souvenir, now only for me,once I took something for my parents, or a book of the place, but this is all. I don't even look the showcases. There is so much to see and as I almost always am in groups, sometimes I have to run to find the others, as I linge to take photos :-))
