Indeed it was Rosa. I doubt that this boat was very sea-worthy but its position here along wth its colour suited me well. As you say, a great place to linger.

I like to sit there...and have a Guinness :-)

A man after my own heart - however Guinness must really be pored and drank fresh from the cask - not much of that here. I did have a pint or two elsewhere though!

Thanks Peter. I am not really a little sailor, I have sailed a little dingy, rowing boats and leisure craft on the Norfolk Broads though, and done a lot of cruising, so perhaps I am but I was not tempted by this boat. Glad you liked it.

Oh, what a little nice beach, Herb, the sand seems very soft. The boat... not my kind of thing,I need something a bit larger and stable under my feet :-)

The sand was like silk Daniela. Beautiful pure white sand that was a pleasure to walk over and see. The sea however was much too cold as was the air temperature to venture in. The boat -ah well, in perfect conditions and with permission I might have been tempted.

Hi Herb,

You have got this composition spot on. The boat is right in the middle of the wide sweeping curve made by the two sides of the inlet, and looks ready to sail off there!

Thanks for this observation Peter. I could see this little bay from our cottage window and I sometimes saw a row-boat with someone fishing from it. I could never tell if this was that same boat. Glad you enjoyed it.

Nice to see you here again Wally. Not quite abandoned as this little bay was in fact quite private therefore the boat belonging to the nearby landowning farm? Glad you liked the shot though.
