Aberdaron, Wales

Very good 'fresh' looking pictures of this beautiful area Herb. Every time I make plans to stay with my friends in Wales, something turns up to stop me, but I am definitely going there this month! I hope the weather stays as it is at the moment. Cheers, Rosa.

Great to see you and your comment here Rosa. Our second stay in this area of Aberdaron. The first about seven years back now. Weather does not generally get better over here as Autumn comes but you never know. I wish you luck in that. I am actually looking a little NE here towards Snowdonia. Cheers, Herb

A wonderful coastal landscape shot Herb...........I like the sweeping curve of the coast and the hills on the horizon. One of the best things about Wales is the deserted beaches. Nice work my friend.

Hi Keith, as you say a fine place. These beaches around here are all mostly deserted as this Peninsular is slightly out of the way from all major road networks. I found that not all these beaches around here were deserted though, noticeably Abersoch which was packed. Glad you enjoyed this one.

In May but did not get up on the coastal path thare did a bit of the coastal path at Mynydd Mawr and Gwyddel over looking Bardsey Island. Regards TOZ.

Hi Toz, you missed a treat here. You were in the mountains then. The furthest we explored was a day around Nefyn in cloudy wet weather. However another walk around here did take us near Bardsey Island too. Good that you enjoyed this one.

A beautiful and encompassing view! I had to look hard for the crowds, you managed to escape very well. What goes for a crowd there would count as an empty beach in other places....

Hi Gudtun. Yes, you are right, these crowds were nothing compared with many we saw around Britain on some of our other trips. It was a very big beach when the tide was out for sure. Cheers for this comment and visit ~ Herb
