I really like this picture, and it looks like Moel y Gest in the distance, (or maybe more towards Nefyn). This must be quite new, as I've never seen it before. Thanks for sharing it!

Hi Peter and welcome to this select picture that only my closest friends can remark on. I think this has been here for a year or two now as it is already going rusty. I guess you are right in assuming Moel y Gest.

Very nicely composed Herb. I love the statue...........and it will rust even more beautifully as it ages. They might have to replace the wooden base shortly though.

..............and what a wonderful view too.

Hi Keith, not the most beautiful of statues and not taken at its best angle here but as you say a very interesting thing that strangely enough I cannot find much real data about. I thik you are right about the rust and base.

Thanks George. I thought I saw something about the creator of this but I cannot see it anywhere now. The mother and son, you see in the picture are dangling their legs over a great precipice of at least 100ft. - scary!
