A Porth Y Cychod view

A Porth Y Cychod view
A trip to the tiny bay of Porth Y Cychod on the North Wales coast is the setting for this scene. An old farm perhaps but time has lost almost all traces here. One can only imagine the laughter of children or the cries of fishermen as they prepare for their next catch. who knows....
Update: just found out that this is a restored gable end of a Lime kiln building. Ah well we can dream on...

You are right Marije, I have just found out that this is a restored gable end of Limekiln building. So a building used to make a product and money for the locals. In that case weather did not matter too much.

Good that you enjoy this Toz. A little more about it is now in my top description here. This is also on my 500 A/C (a rare thing having the same picture in both) but a slightly bigger version there. Was a great place to hike about.

A wonderful example of the concept of negative space. If someone wanted to put a lime kiln there now there would of course be an outcry, because it's old a wonderful addition to the landscape !!
