And away she goes!
The "business end" of the paddle steamer "Murray Princess" (see inset note) as it leaves the Mannum wharf, taking another group of passengers along the Murray River in South Australia. Better viewed on black.

Many thanks for your comments and faves, everyone. For interest, this paddle steamer was made for the tourist trade in the USA stern wheel style - in that regard it is entirely different from the usual Australian river boats, which had side paddle wheels.
