Yes, water is fairly scarce, Neil. Probably about ten inches rainfall annually.

Wow, wow, wow! SUPER COOL pano shot, looks fantastic and appears to be HDR with 3d qualities. Very nice. job. I'd love to see a place like this some time. So fascinating. Oh, how I envy you...what an interesting, historical spot!

Many thanks, Janet. It is indeed a fascinating place to visit, but I'd be surprised if you don't have similar places without the need to travel this far. :) As I commented to Phil, the camera took about five shots to create the panorama and goodness knows the processing involved. I did indeed boost the levels slightly.
