I wonder how many of these love-locks, if any, are still meaningful? It's going to take quite a few man hours to remove them. I see another photographer has seen something that has caught his/her eye.

Amelia, yes, love-locks is a new industry! You can see locks with the names and a date! That means they have been engraved for this special date.
Correctly seen! The photographer has seen the object that you can see in the PIP :-)

Erhard, ja, das nimmt inzwischen schon groteske Formen an! Es gibt auch bei uns kaum mehr ein Geländer, wo nicht solche Schlösser angehängt werden.

Ruebenkraut, ich denke, das ist inzwischen zu einem richtigen Industriezweig avanciert. Man sieht Schlösser mit Namen UND Datum. Das heisst, man hat sie speziell für diese Gelegenheit graviert.

Gudrun, ja, wir sind einmal um die Aussenalster marschiert. :-) Etwas um die drei Stunden glaubs. Wobei man muss die zahlreichen Fotohalte und Vögelbetrachtungen noch abziehen :-)
Mit Innenalster sind das etwa 8,5 km; das schafft man in etwa 2 Stunden. :)

Ein schönes Foto von dieser bekloppten Sitte.
Einmal habe ich auch so ein Geländer geknipst,
www.ipernity.com/doc/kalli/43422852, und wollte es nie wieder tun. Hab ich in Büsum an einer ganz absurden Stelle www.ipernity.com/doc/kalli/43551422 dann doch nochmal getan.
Gestern haben wir auf einer Brücke in der Nähe der Elbphilharmonie einen "alten Mann" gesehen, der hat mit einem Akku-Gerät Namen und Daten in so ein Vorhängeschloss graviert.

Kalli, ja, das mag irgendwann, als man das an nur ganz bestimmten Stellen tat, noch ganz romantisch gewesen sein. Inzwischen ist es völlig verkommerzialisiert und einfach nur noch lästig!
