Magnolia Macro (+PiP)

This lovely magnolia flower came from my neighbours garden. I took it indoors to photograph and, as you can see, I removed a few petals to expose the heart of the flower. The lighting came from a hand held LED panel.
There is an image of the whole flower in the PiP if you are interested.

My neighbours are used to me taking photos of the flowers in their garden and I just have to ask if I want to pick one..........no one has refused me so far! I'm very lucky.
