Walrus...sort of! (+PiP)

Walrus...sort of! (+PiP)
Taken yesterday in Southsea, Hampshire. This one is by the artist Sadie Were. Made as part of "Lady Jam" which was a gathering of female street artists a week or so ago.

There is another piece in the PiP by the artist Roo Arbrook, also made as part of "Lady Jam", entitled Queen of Southsea.

I have a few more to post in due course.

Thanks Güni............I had to wait a while to get to see them (mostly because of the weather conditions) but it was worth it.

I'm not sure that this is meant to be a Walrus........this is just the artist's impression and a walrus was the closest animal I could think of. Glad you like it though Judite.

I think it's a figment of someone's imagination............but it could be based on a Manatee I suppose :-)

I'm pretty sure real manatees don't have just one leg and one flipper.

You know what they say about the 1960s though..............if you can remember it, you probably weren't there..!! I was too young to remember much of it........I wasn't born until 1952 and I joined the Navy in 1968.

Well... I discovered The Beatles and learnt their songs by heart, sang them, had the translation to understand what they were about and thanks to them I learnt English, they were my first lessons !

Sounds a lovely way to learn a language. The Beatles performed quite a lot in Germany I think and were popular there before they became really popular here in England.
