Suppose plenty of it, and a telelens to capture them !

There were quite a few of these around...........but they're very skittish and so I was at the very limit of my lens.........and these are heavy crops.

They are very well camouflaged too.........and difficult to see when not moving :-)

Three excellent shots! The way you have made them into a collage you can see the birds walking into the frame!

Es ist immer schön,wenn man Zeit hat für das Beobachten lieber Keith,weil da bekommt man schöne Aufnahmen,da hast du Recht,es war was los,sehr schön sind deine Aufnahmen in Gruppen und auch deine Einzelaufnahme des Vodels ist sehr schön,schön sind die Strukturen in ihren Federkleid lieber Keith :))

On that day I just went and sat on a bench near the sea and waited to see what turned up. I was lucky to get lots of these small birds. I also saw some Curlews and I'll post a couple of photos of them in due course.
