Just Swanning About!

Taken last Thursday at Broadmarsh Coastal Park near Havant, Hampshire. The sun was very harsh and difficult for photographing white birds, but I think this one turned out OK.

I like the way it has it's eyes closed while it sorts out an itch on the top it's head :-))

I watched the swan for quite a while before it got itself into the position I wanted, but it was worth the wait in the end.
