Trees - Hayling Island

Beautiful collage Keith.

Always nice to see trees Keith. A lot of trees blown down over the last month but yesterday I got a shock as I saw that a large swathe of pine forest had been cut down in my local Dovestones area. They had left a few deciduous trees in place and so I suspect they will replant with British natural trees now. Rewilding -perhaps. - That island area of Hayling looks quite an interesting place to explore. ~ Well done.

Hayling Island is one of my "go to" places when I don't have time to go further afield. It's a difficult place to visit in the height of summer though (there is only one road on and off the island and traffic jams can mean it can take hours instead of 20 mins or so), so I tend to visit off-season when I can. Otherwise it has to be early in the mornings or late in the evening.
