These trees sit adjacent to the seafront next to a well used footpath. They always look lovely in the sunshine. You can see the edge of the gravel beach in three of these images and the seaweed at the high water mark. I haven't been over that way since the storms we had a week ago - I hope they survived!

Enjoying a sunny afternoon at Swanage. Taken back in July 2012. I've decided to repost it today as a comparison to the image I posted nearly a week ago (please see the PiP). Dark skies, rain and stormy seas, yet an amazing amount people on the beach and in the water! It rained every single day we were in Devon - apart from some family snaps I only took about half a dozen photos. Please forgive me for my brief comments............needs must if I am to catch up with everyone's photos. Normal service will resume as soon as possible :-)
