This blackbird appears to be intently watching you taking the photo. It looks like he has worms in his beak? Sharply photographed against the soft background makes the shot even more effective.

As always, the detail is beautiful in full screen! I love blackbirds. We have two males coming to the window for food now, but they don't get on together. It is quite interesting and comical to watch!

I have only one regular in my garden at the moment.............but it's outnumbered by the Jackdaws who turn up in groups of six or more. He only tends to visit later in the day when the bigger birds have eaten their fill.

Super hast du auf den Kopf fokussiert.so ist auch der Baumaterial sehr schön zu sehen,ich mag diese Vögel auch immer lieber Keith,ich glaube,über diese schöne Aufnahme täte sich auch die Amsel freun :))

I've having terrible problems commenting today.........IP seems very slow again and the comments either don't work or take a few minutes to upload. Somewhere along the line, your comments on my artwork photos I posted yesterday have disappeared. I replied to them, but when I refreshed the page, both your comments and my reply had disappeared..!! It's very annoying!
