Robin

I haven't posted a photo of a Robin for ages...............so I thought today was a good a time as any :-))

This was taken during a walk around the Petersfield Heath Pond in Hampshire, on a sunny (but cold) day back at the end of January.

Luckily the café does a superb cup of hot chocolate and a great oat and raisin cookie (both of which we may have sampled)!

Herb Riddle ^club

There Robins always look gorgeous Keith. The other day I was planting a new holly in the corner of our garden and the moment I moved away, down came our robin to see what I had disturbed. Wonderful quality to this and the light speaks for itself. Well done.

Thanks Colin...............not much chance of a Robin sharing, unless it's with a mate. They're extremely territorial and surprisingly violent sometimes. Apparently they sometimes even fight to the death!

Sadly, I no longer have that lens.........I was finding it too heavy to carry around, so rarely used it in the end. I sold it earlier this year.

Ja,so Tele haben auch den Nachteil,dass sie ein Gewicht haben lieber Keith,mein Tele wiegt alleine auch 2.2 kg und wenn man Kamera mithat,hast du immer 3 kg in der Hand,hört sich mal nicht so viel an,aber man merkt es,wenn man länger unterwegs ist,man trennt sich auch nicht leicht von solchen Objektiven :))
