You have taken two stunning pictures Keith. I couldn't choose a favourite! They are equally beautiful. Now that is how I wanted to capture water when I was in Devon/Cornwall, but I think with the weather we had, I would have needed a very strong tripod! Were these taken freehand, or with a tripod?

Both these were taken hand held.........my Olympus cameras have excellent IBIS (in-body image stabilization).

The weather has calmed down a bit since Friday, but even now we still have very high speed gusts of wind (between 50-60mph) and it's raining as well. The rest of the week's not looking especially good either :-)) Roll on summer............

I think that was the speed of the highest gusts Fred..........but only in one place on the Isle of Wight. Otherwise it gusted mainly between 60-90mph! I stayed indoors :-))

Avez-vous essayé d'utiliser Google Translate.......... qui est assez facile à copier et à coller.......... et les traductions sont également assez bonnes.

Merci Keith. j'ai pu résoudre le probleme et lire ton commentaire. Ici, nous n'avons pas beaucoup souffert du vent. Le vent a surtout fais des dégats dans le nord du pays. J'ai vu à la TV qu'il y avait pas mal de dégats en Angleterre. J'espére que tu n'a pas été impacté. Actuellement le vent souffle, j'espére que ça va rester léger. Autrefois j'aimais l'entendre mais depuis la tempête de 2000 qui a fait beaucoup de dégats ici je suis devenu craintif. Bonne semaine à toi. J Paul

We were quite badly affected by the storms, but personally we didn't suffer any damage. It's still very windy today and that will continue for most of the week, but nothing as bad as the weekend.

I'm very pleased you like these two shots Güni...........these gardens are one of my favourite places to visit. The streams are chalk streams which run down from the nearby South Downs and they're always clear and clean.
