Painted Tree

Ha, ha...........thanks Colin. The estate this was on once belonged to the Royal Navy (a training establishment). I suspect the paint may have been put there then, but no idea why!

Vielleicht ist es die Markierung für den rot-gelben Weg? Ich hoffe nicht, dass der Baum zum Fällen markiert wurde. Wie auch immer, ist die Markierung sehr fotogen.

That's unlikely as the trail is a simple circular route around the lake. I don't think it was marked for felling either as it's still there and seems in good health. I guess we'll never know Wilhelm.

Vielleicht hat jemand mal etwas hinterlassen wollen lieber Keith,weil die Farbauswahl auch sehr gut zusammen passen und so hat sich durch die Rinde und der Farbe eine sehr schönes Bild mit tollen Details ergeben :))
