Magnifique composition. Je n'arrivais pas à identifier cette belle vieille moto. L'agrandissement m'a permis de voir que c'était une Triumph. Ces motos avaient quand même une autre allure que les motos d'aujourd'hui.. L'ambiance picturale était-elle la même lorsque tu as faire ton 1er tatouage ?

I think the frontage looked pretty much the same............on a bit grungier............the whole area has been modernised over the years and the places under the railway arches are nearly all gone now.

This tattoo parlour is around 500meters from the Royal Navy dockyard Fred............in my day most of the customers would probably have been sailors like me..!!

Tattoos have become more "trendy" nowadays, so I guess the customers could be anyone (including footballers). Glad you found it interesting!

I think the wall art has been there forever - probably since it opened although it looks like it's been touched up over the years. According to the plaque above the door the tattoo parlour has been there since 1963.

I won't tell you where my first tattoo was done Makes me cringe thinking about it :-) !!! The second one wasn't much better, Margate sea front after a few beers. Must be a reputable business to have survived all those years.

The tattoo parlour has been there since 1963 Maurice and it's only about 500 yards from the Naval Dockyard, so there's no shortage of customers!
