Mini Regatta (+ PiPs)

Captured in Emsworth, Hampshire...........where a mini regatta of remote-control sailing boats was taking place on the Mill Pond. Although the weather was cold, wet and windy, everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves.

If we only saw the middle PiP, we would be quite unaware that it was a mini regatta Keith :-) It looks like there were a lot of competitors and the boats look just like the real thing!

Curieusement le vent est visible sur cette photo (Peut être la coiffure de la dame) Celà me rappelle certains dessins japonais où le vent est visible. Ces minis voiliers sont trés courageux

Each to his (or her) own Eunice.............I could argue they were daft for being out in that weather playing with model boats..............but then again I was out in the same weather taking photos :-)))

These model boat enthusiasts are out most weekends. Surprisingly they're almost all adults! It's always nice to see them and they take it very seriously!
