Keith Burton's photos with the keyword: bark

During a recent walk in Stansted Forest, West Sussex, a few days ago this piece of birch tree bark caught my eye on as it stood out against the fallen leaves. I also found a "slice" of birch tree nearby (which you can see in the PiP).

Whilst walking through the wooded area alongside Southwick Park Lake, a short drive from my house, I spotted this paint on one of the trees. It's obviously been there for some time and I have no idea why, but I thought it might make a nice abstract image. Hope you agree!

Taken in Victoria Park, Portsmouth. I believe the tree is a London Plane.

Looking great against the darker tree bark.

This is an image of part of a rotting tree trunk I spotted in the New Forest. I took it because I liked the shapes and textures in the wood. It wasn't until I processed the image I noticed the "ghost"................... Please view large, on black.
