Because of COVID-19

Because of COVID-19
This was taken a few days ago over the top of my 6ft high back garden fence. By standing in the garden and using a long lens I can just about get the trees in against the sky without having the fence in shot or any of the car park signs. Just to the left and out of shot is a Police Station and a COVID-19 test centre and to the right is a Leisure Centre and swimming pool (closed because of COVID-19). Between the two is a huge car park (empty because of COVID-19).

Il y a quelque chose de pictural dans cette photo (un peu impressionniste ou expressionniste suivant comment on la regarde.). Tu y exprime (entre autres) a la fois la présence du covid et son côté invisible. Celà m'évoque aussi les premieres lueurs du jour. .Peut être que cette journée s'annonce belle.

A spectacular "striped" sky!
Aren't we all sick of lockdowns? But that's still better than the virus getting totally out of hand... We have had our nightly curfew lifted last Thursday but lockdown is still going on. They expect the Kent mutation to be dominant in Germany by the end of March...

I agree...........lockdowns are definitely better than Covid-19 getting more out of hand than it already is. Germany seems to be having a rough time of it lately.

We're expecting our PM to give details of a "road map" out of lockdown on the 22nd Feb. I just hope they do it right this time!

A few among our 16 minister presidents wouldn't follow Angie's wishes in November and insisted on a lockdown light that cost us dearly...

I do hope the UK gets it right! Everybody wants roadmaps but I'm afraid the virus jus doesn't work that way. Most politicians will never understand exponential growth or prevention paradox.

I think our Boris want's to do it right this time............but already he's under pressure from a lot of his own party to just cancel all restrictions at the same time! I hope he holds firm.
