A nice row of colour on a grey day Keith, some beach huts at Holkham on the North Norfolk coast are up for sale with a starting price of £70k.

Something so English about a row of beach huts Keith. Let's hope they get plenty of use in the summer. Even locked up they make a delightful picture. Love all the different colours.

It looks as if some of the beach huts have got protection in front of their doors. A wise move bearing in mind that we are prone to suffer serious coastal winter storms.

I think theft and vandalism is more of a problem than the weather Amelia :-(

Not much use come spring either I suspect Keith, some great colours and high security in this nicely composed image, I like the nice light despite the cloudy sky in a terrific capture.

I know these hold a nostalgic fascination for many, but not for me!! Freezing cold and boring afternoons with otherwise lovely grandparents at Boscombe when very young (me, that is not my grandparents!) put me off for life!!!

Oh dear. We've never had access to one (too expensive), but I often think it would be lovely, especially when the grandchildren visit.

You make me wonder how my grandparents could have afforded one. They certainly weren't rolling in the spondoolicks as it were!
Maybe they were relatively cheap in the 60s?

I have no idea Andy............my parents certainly couldn't afford to have one in those days.
