Interesting! I suppose if you must have a weathercock (and this looks like a good one) and if all you have is a garden shed to show it off on, then a garden shed it must be!!!

Beautifully captured in this stark black and white Keith.
When we moved here 19 years ago, there was a beautiful weather vane on the chimney. It was of 2 owls and very well made and heavy....however, in the wind all I could hear was clunk clunk all night! We tried to secure it more, but in the end I had it taken down and the two owls now reside as a garden ornament :))

It is a classic here too. The figure of the rooster is the one that is repeated the most on the roofs of Spain. On my roof there is a cat and a moon. All the best, Anton.
