This stone was placed by one provincial premier in a grand, new
building and it had wording engraved on it that attributed to himself
the responsibility for that grandeur. But there were some delays in
the Grand Opening and an election intruded. He lost the election. The
new premier, even more prideful than the first, had the stone
sand-blasted and a different stone placed more visibly, with wording
that attributed to him, the new premier, the grandeur of the place.

This original stone sits in an alcove, mainly unseen, but everyone who
works in the building knows the story.

Sylvain Wiart has particularly liked this photo
