Catkins. Surely it is spring.

Our spring is about three weeks ahead of schedule. We've had no snow
in weeks, and there was little snow over the winter anyway. The frost
seems to have been out of the ground for weeks, if not months. And
some of the trees are geting frisky; this is a European poplar growing
over our back yard.
