Alder and chuckleypear

This was a week ago and, normally during Spring, a week makes a big

difference. But our weather has been so cold and dark, this could have

been taken today too.



Chuckleypear is the most common local name for this Amalanchier species,

known by lotsa names elsewhere, like saskatoonberry and wild-plum.
