Good point, Steve. I may be wrong, but I think in Gothic horror people tend to have servants to carry things around for them. That is, they are naive.

I've never seen Nosferatu, Denis, so wasn't aware of the scene till you and Steve mentioned it. There is a strong resemblance, though, isn't there? Blind luck here, really -- the right gloves in the right place at the right moment.
