CHAOS OF ROCKS... this is what you see from the bridge in front of the lighthouse (better seen on PiP). Along the coast, the pink rocks pile up with sometimes a bewildering imbalance and unexpected shapes, and one wonders how these rocks can hold in balance! Their formation dates back more than 300 million years. Originally, a volcanic magma, this one eroded and sculpted the rocks by giving them curious forms. This site is very popular: more than 1 million visitors per year.

Christa1004 club has replied to Peter Castell clubI like this picture very much!
It is a very different and exciting composition
Fantastic colours too
As Peter C says, it is very hard to imagine the forces which shaped and moved these rocks. Perhaps the ice ages?
Best Wishes, and stay safe!!
