In 2015 Lake Guerlédan was totally dried up, revealing an astonishing landscape: frozen in the depths, the sunken valley resurfaced with its houses, its gardens, its locks, its dead trees...
The dam condition required the repairs of the sealing system to the upstream face and the renovation of the bottom valves and conduits.

En 2015 le lac de Guerlédan était totalement asséché, dévoilant un paysage étonnant: figé dans les profondeurs, la vallée engloutie refait surface avec ses maisons, ses jardins, ses écluses, ses arbres morts ...
L'état du barrage a nécessité la réparation du système d'étanchéité de la face amont et la rénovation des vannes et conduits inférieurs.

Merci Stefani. C'était spectaculaire de voir ce plus grand lac de Bretagne vidé. Bonnes fêtes de fin d'année.

Danke H-Marie. Es war aussergewöhnlich, diesen grössten See der Bretagne leer zu sehen. Wir waren öfters da in jenem Jahr : am Anfang des Frühlings, als nach und nach die Häuser, Schleusen, abgestorbenen Bäume usw wieder zum Vorschein kamen, dann im Sommer, als die Erde ausgetrocknet war und man bis zum Grund des Sees wandern konnte, und dann nochmal im Herbst, kurz bevor er wieder gefüllt wurde. Frohe Festtage.

Vielen Dank Ulrich. Diese Gegend im Zentrum der Bretagne fällt aus dem Rahmen, man fühlt sich wirklich irgendwo an einen Fjord versetzt...
