Impressive ruins; well framed image.

The castle is far distant history, but the ruins are well conserved, and it's really interesting to stroll among them and to imagine how life once was there.

Danke Lothar, ja, das kann man wohl sagen, fast 1000 Jahre alt. Von den Gebäuden des 21. Jhs. bleibt in 1000 Jahren sicher nicht mehr übrig !!! Schöne Woche.

Danke Tanja. Ja, ich bin absoluter Fan von altem Gemäuer.... Also, ich denke, auf dieser Bank wird's nicht romantisch, es gibt nämlich bequemere ganz in der Nähe, mit Rückenlehne und aus Holz (also wärmer für's Popöchen ;-))) Alles Gute und eine schöne Woche.

WOW! Someone needs to cut this poor castle some slack, it's had nothing but bad luck! What better, then, to have a seat at that bench and mull over the stressful past of this place. :D

Thanks Janet, indeed, there were some eventful times for this castle. But after all, 1000 years later, we can still admire its ruins ... I don't think our buildings today will have resisted in 1000 years!! Stay well.
