PIP: the ruins of Château Gaillard from the west: the keep is on the right and the ruins of the outer bailey, including remains of some of the towers, are on the left.

The construction of this ruined medieval castle began in 1196 under the auspices of Richard the Lionheart, who was simultaneously King of England and feudal Duke of Normandy.

Klar, das ist ein "Must" in dem Teil der Normandie. Die Burg ist wirklich mächtig zu sehen - hast du sie besichtigt ?

Karsten, da muss man erstmal raufkraxeln, aber dann wird man mit diesem herrlichen Panorama über das Seinetal belohnt (mit dem Rücken zur Burg).

Merci Marie-Claire. Si tu ne le connais pas encore, tu devrais faire un tour au Château Gaillard, ce n'est pas très loin de Paris, et cela vaut le coup d'oeil.
