Here is erosion at it's most interesting.... small walkways and steps are also chipped into the rock to aid access and provides a fascinating pastime for everyone to explore the cliffs and caves in this region..... regular boat trips take visitors to the sea caves below. // Dj.

A full one year on - from the date of capture... here is a view West.. towards the town of 'Carvoeiro' Portugal.. illustrating the very useful boardwalks leading away from the stunning 'Algar Seco' cliff formations - caves and bays...[see the pip].. which continue across the terrain providing easy access for everyone.

Thursday the 4th. June... we see some rain at last.. but a short burst of blue sky just in time to brighten up the scene.. . A view North - across fields and the new poppies in the 'Moss valley'

The water trough for the horses is sited to the right hand corner of the picture.. it appears they were all needing a drink as we passed by.. including the youngster.

Today this is a pleasant narrow lane running up from the 'Moss valley'.. here it passes through a cutting.. and at other points is built up onto embankments in order to keep it level as .. over a hundred years ago this track was a very busy and well used access road leading to the many old water powered industries and coal mine...spaced out along the valley.

We were spotted - by two of the regular horses.. who look forward to their carrots.. the other was content with the usual unlimited quantities of meadow grass...

A further fence picture this week.. the 17th. April... snapped during an 'accepted' 'exercise' walk out - not too far from home... in fact a straight line on Google Earth map shows....1.177 metres.

During this global 'Coronavirus' chaos.... here in the UK. it is acceptable to take 'not too lengthy' or 'too distant' walks out for excercise purposes. At only ten minutes walk from home.. here is a local footpath to the 'Moss valley' .
The stack of straw in the centre is feed for the horses.. who were not around on the day.
