Unfortunately for the poor dog there was no pub at the end of the walk.. His master had come by bicycle, then turned back after another mile or so, How he even came onto this path by bicycle I have no idea, (it is a public bridleway, but no idea how you would ever start along it with a horse either), but no pubs for miles!!
