Your visit is most welcome. This is a style of fence building I have not seen before. While it looks a mess, there is certainly method in the way it is put together, and I suppose its wide bas means the poles don't have to go in so deep.

Hello Peter i suppose this type of wooden construction being made with a wide base may help against it turning into drift wood in the lake with the winds that are likely to blow in this lofty position :))

I imagine that this is some special Swiss style of fence, maybe to avoid putting posts deep into the ground, which may be rocky..

Hi Peter and many thanks for showing me this fine scene. I once had a holiday on this lake and reserved a day to go up here but of course it was raining and misty on that day so it was abandoned. Some years later I put together a giant jigsaw of the same mountain and so this brings back many memories. ☼
