Quince blossom. H. A. N. W. E. everyone!


A different tree. The leaves and blossoms are three times the size of those of my previous post; a different variety I'm sure. I'll be intrigued to see if the fruit will look any different. These I recognised immediately. The others are just so much smaller than any quince blossom I'd ever seen before! One for Project 21: Flowers.

I took some photos of peach- and apricot flowers today ...
Andy Rodker club has replied to Leon_Vienna clubI mixed my cultivated quince with my chaenomeles Japonica for jelly and jam too! For the same reason, the only difference was that I didn't find or use wild quince.
I will take photos of each tree as the fruit ripens to see what difference, if any, there will be!
