The path down to Valdemanco

From the slopes of Mondalindo, overlooking the village of Valdemanco, to the slopes of the Sierra de La Cabrera. It hadn't rained for almost a year and the country was as parched as it looks here!

Thank you, Rosa. The long raised road is the old railway track. Open at the time of this shot, it closed soon after and is now a walkway that follows the tunnel under the montains for 5 kms (you need a headlamp and/or torch). I did it once. Good fun!
