with ever since I became interested in gardening about 35 years ago (I do miss my garden!!! I have been living in flats in Madrid for 10 years!)

It seems they are rare States-side; in England they are the second most comon variety after the normal one.
I had two trailing over fences (I left there in 94, too soon for HFF!). They were a specatular sight and fruited copiously in good years. All the time I was gardening I wasn't taking photos; I regret not having a record of my various gardens now! Since I resumed taking photos, I havent had a garden. There must be something in that!
