Porthcadjack from Carvannel Downs for Pam. H. A. N. W. E. everyone!

This is taken from higher up than most of my Porthcadjack shots. Samphire and Asparagus Islands can be seen at the left with only their tops showing. Crane Islands are mid distance and the North Cliffs, Hell's Mouth and Godrevy coasts are further off. In the very far distance are the hills of West Penwith beyond St Ives and getting closer to Land's End.
My mum did an oil painting from this shot and just last week, it won first prize in the St Day arts and crafts show, not just in the painting category but for the whole exhibition too. Yes, she is dead chuffed, and rightly so!

Bon WE Andy.
Have a good weekend.
I'm playing catch-up again, so I'm really just commenting on the most recent shots posted.
Andy Rodker club has replied to Keith Burton clubPlaying catch-up is a familiar story to many members I suspect; me certainly!
Pleased you like it Keith! I think you went away to Skomer Island again (???)
If so, I look forward to seeing some great shots. (You might already have posted some but I will have to play catch up early next week to view them!)
Keith Burton club has replied to Andy Rodker clubI'm booked to go to Skokholm (next to Skomer) again in July this year!
