Hidden Valley

We enjoyed the Hidden Valley area of Joshua Tree National Park for many reasons, but the outstanding feature of the area and of the park is the rock formations.

Die Felsformationen sind einfach einzigartig!
Gr Hansruedi
nice sunday Ron
Magnificently displayed, Ron!
I like very much this type of arid terrain.
Ahhhhh...home, sweet and empty home! I BET you guys were exhausted! It's going to take a week of relaxing to revitalize yourselves after the herculean efforts you put out for your family. I'm so glad it all worked out so great, that's wonderful.
Yep...you're so right about learning to be ok with altering plans. Shorter/less is the right answer and we are rewarded handsomely every time we deviate from a more elaborate plan. In the end, if knocking yourself out to make a schedule work ends up in destroying everything, how did you gain from forcing the issue? Steve and I made some horrendous errors in this department in the past, and we are finally learning to chill out and relax. Both of us were overjoyed at the success of this last trip down to see my brother...it was perfect! :) Had we tried to do everything we'd thought about doing, we would have been miserable and angry at each other at the end. So yay on little improvements that change everything for the better! :)
happy new year Ron !
Such lovely light and great composition!
Very impressive, Ron!
