Bon WE Ron.
Thank you so much for your wonderful comments about my fence and insets! :) It's hard to resist sun-dappling on anything, I'm glad you liked it too. Also, that crazy panorama that you loved...it's just amazing that it came from a CELL PHONE. Nuts. Sad though because it's only a jpg so poor detail and can't really become much larger as the crop is actually too short for a reasonable size. But at the size posted (and it can be bigger too, just not HUGE), it's surprisingly majestic, I have to admit...but lol...I cloned out the next door neighbor's cracker-buildings and redneck junk, and I also removed some power lines and other civilization stuff. So...the reality isn't as majestic but who cares! :D What I will do is keep my eyes open...if the fog should build up like that again some morning, I'll grab a proper camera and do the job right! Definitely kicking myself atm! :D
LOL, your lichen comment about my hammock pictures...oh dear...tell your wife to tickle you for that horrible joke...I'm embarrassed to know you. :D :D (Steve uses that whenever he sees a lichen picture of mine...and his ribs are bruised from retaliation tickles! You're both idiots! :D And yes, you're both very pleased with yourselves! :D)
Wow, you are really into the ethnic dishes! And you know how to make injera? WOOT! Where is that coming from? I mean, Steve and I love to cook that way but we are familiar with multi-cultural food, having been born and raised in metropolitan cities (SF/LA), but what about you? I'm going to guess the same. Thing is, having lived in a place like SF, with an open mind to trying different cuisine, you just can't be satisfied without a diverse menu for your whole life. It's really the worst thing about living rurally. But hey, we can good and the internet is overflowing with recipes so we have no problem finding fabulous ways to integrate world-menus to our lives! :) How about you?
(Oh forgot to mention, last year when we went to SF to visit family, we went to dinner at an Ethiopian restaurant...Steve and I suggested the idea and only a couple of our family members had tried it. It was fun to see them transform into huge fans after eating one bite and then trying all of the other incredible flavors! Just...don't eat too much of the injera guys...it's great but it keeps expanding and you will be very sorry!! :D Suffice to say, we LOVE Ethiopian!)
Finally, about posting pictures. Woe are we, right? It's just not possible to post all of the pictures we want to...it's damned if you do and damned if you don't. If you post too many, only a microscopic few will look at them all. If you post extras as insets, some of the awesome insets won't really get a proper shine for attention. If you only post one picture a day, let's see if my math works out...that's about 365 pictures to post if you do one a day. And yet...both of us know all too well...our archives, our current folders, they are BURSTING with goodness, just hoping for a spotlight. UGH. I can only imagine that you are in the same boat as me, countless GIGS of pictures that deserve attention but it's just not happening. We can't stop taking pictures. So yeah. I feel for you. Let us cry on one another's shoulders and then wipe our tear-stained cheeks and move on. The best we can do is just that...our best, and that's all... I'm just happy I get to see the pictures of yours that do make it online! :) Just have fun! :)
