I hope that your holiday throng is working out well! I bet everyone is having a great time, and I hope you are getting some moments to yourself from time to time as well. Our Christmas is mercifully quiet, just the way we like it. I am allergic to holiday marketing and crowds and my hermit tendencies kick into overdrive from before Turkey Day until after New Years. I can't even handle family gatherings...it's all just too much. Too artificial. Too contrived. Too commercialized. My best holiday is one like today. Quiet, peaceful, beautiful solitude and the chance to step outside and listen to the birds and walk through the forest, silently drinking in nature's gifts that I find all around me.
I hope that you got a little bit of that too! Sending a big holiday hug! All the best to you and yours!
