Flame Skimmer

This dragonfly was photographed near Darwin Falls in Death Valley National Park and I believe it is a Flame Skimmer. If anyone has a better ID, though, I'd appreciate it.

Have a nice weekend Ron.
TY for your additional comment on cactus and ability to grow or not. I guess your local is just a bit too cold and wet. San Francisco is probably just on the right side of the limit. The temperatures are very rarely on the extra cold side, and I guess that is enough to keep them alive. There are a number of places in Golden Gate Park, and of course in countless gardens throughout the city, which host awesome displays of succulents. They seem to do just fine!
