Scott's Oriole

This post features some of the birds we saw and photographed in Joshua Tree National Park, in this case a Scott's Oriole, Icterus parisorum. He was photographed in the area of Barker Dam on the last day of our stay.

Thank you so much for your comments on my Crocosmias image, I loved hearing why you appreciated it and I'm left all-aglow! :) *hugs* Thank you too, for what you mentioned about Pumpkin and espresso too! :) Pumpkin is a beauty queen for sure...we are so happy that she has such a healthy diet and enjoys it too, because her feathers positively glow with vigor (Unless fed properly, a bird's plumage is dull and listless looking). And as for espresso...YUM!! Isn't that a delight?! Nothing like an awesome cup with perfect crema, finished off with some cream...mmmmm.
