Canary Spring

Canary Spring
Canary Spring is one of the few active areas at Mammoth Hot Springs. Mammoth is in the north part of Yellowstone National Park and is famous for its terraces. The photo shows something of the size of these terraces and looks across Canary Spring down into the valley below.

Perfect composition and colours.
Fascinating location and area, would love to visit.
The foreground focus on the stone is perfect.
The blue mountains in the distance provide a brilliant contrast.

A striking and majestic image! Great shooting, Ron. I believe that when I was out there when I was 19 that we missed this area totally. Time for another trip, I guess!
